The average worker will change jobs every 2-3 years, yet we were never taught how to properly job search.
For most, career changes don’t mean just “climbing up the ladder.”
Companies and their hiring needs are changing faster than ever. Setting a path when you graduate that lasts 40 years is not the norm anymore.
You need to constantly rematch your unique skills to what the market needs today. Without that, you risk a stretched out job search, staying in a job you don’t love, or finding one that doesn’t fit.
We’ll teach you how to move your career forward in uncertain times by leveraging the network you already have.
Why now?
Finding a job and feeling secure in one is harder than ever.
The job market is tight
AI has made applying for jobs as easy as ordering swiping right - hiring managers are overwhelmed.
Job seekers are applying to hundreds of jobs over months - standing out is a struggle.
Job boards and LinkedIn weren’t built to guide your career - having 20 tabs open feels confusing, not clarifying
All of this can take a toll on mental health and progress.
Whether you’re actively job hunting, or passively exploring, this can leave you feeling stuck, demoralized, and isolated.
There’s a better way.
You can learn core skills to navigate the reality of today’s job market.
Be intentional in your next chapter
Get clarity on what you really want
Be clear, compelling and confident when you talk about yourself
Feel focused, not scattered
And leverage your network to find opportunities and move you forward
While we can’t guarantee a job, Crabwalk can upgrade how you navigate your career to increase the chances of getting what you want next, faster, and make the journey much easier.
Is this for me?
In a job, moving up…
You want to move up in your career and feel valued at work. We’ll teach you how to leverage your network to clarify what you want, position yourself with confidence, and grow your career support internally and externally.
In a job, but exploring…
You’re working, but not sure you want to, or will be able to, stay. We’ll help you leverage your network to clarify what you want, what unique value you have to offer, and what opportunities exist now - at your current job or elsewhere.
Actively searching…
You’re searching, and not making the progress you want. Job boards are draining and you’re not getting traction. Upgrade your search using your existing network - open doors, feel focused, and build your confidence.

Why us?
Hello! We’re Laura & Carly
Neither of us have had a linear career. One started in engineering, moving through real estate and startups, and landed in coaching. The other in finance, government, start-ups, education and media.
We learned to Crabwalk—navigate our careers when the path forward wasn’t straightforward. Nearly all of our jobs have come from our relationships, not cold applications and job boards. And each one has moved us forward.
Crabwalk was born out of deep passion to help others do the same.
Founded in 2018, we provide 1:1 coaching, content and workshops / webinars to teach anyone the skills to navigate their career with confidence. Crabwalk methodologies have been taught to students at MIT, Kellogg and Duke, professionals at JP Morgan, Google, and IBM, and entrepreneurs backed by Y Combinator, Techstars and top tier venture firms.
