Our Story
Hello! Our careers have been anything but linear.
One of us got a Mechanical Engineering degree from Duke with real estate experience, 7 years in tech startups, and a love for working on 10 things at once.
The other joined Goldman Sachs after college…then 2008 happened. Now she lectures at MIT with experience at top NYC startups and a stint under Mayor Bloomberg.
At each step, we adapted to changing organizations, identified our own interests, and navigated to the next opportunity. Along the way, we learned a lot about how to do that with far less anxiety.
The world of careers has changed.
You no longer get to pick a major in college and stick with a job till you retire and golf at 65. The average person will have 20+ jobs in their lifetime yet schools aren’t teaching us how to make each of those shifts.
The result is millions of people trapped in jobs they don’t love, feeling like they did something wrong. We want to change that.
Perhaps your career has been linear, or perhaps it hasn’t. Either way…
We want to give you peace of mind through Crabwalk.
